Lead Brief currently keeps optional analytics off. Understand browser preference storage, hosting technology and the Privacy choices control.
Current setting: optional analytics off
This release does not load Google Analytics, Cloudflare Web Analytics or Microsoft Clarity from the site’s code. It has no ad tags, session replay or affiliate trackers. You do not need to accept optional analytics to read, download or calculate.
The site uses Cloudflare to deliver and protect requests. Infrastructure processing is separate from optional behavioural analytics; see the privacy notice and Cloudflare privacy policy.
Preference storage
The Privacy choices control is in every page’s footer. Opening it does not create a preference. Choosing Refuse may store leadbrief-consent-v1 in your browser’s local storage with the choice and timestamp, for up to 180 days. It contains no identity or business inputs. Browser site-data controls can remove it.
The Allow button is disabled while optional measurement is unavailable. There is no banner asking you to accept a service that is not running.
Before optional measurement is introduced
Operator identity, jurisdiction and a working privacy contact need to be completed. The notice must then describe the actual providers, purposes, retention and choices. GA4 would load only after an affirmative choice, with advertising features off and a small event set that excludes entered values. Refusal and withdrawal must work, including unloading optional scripts.
Microsoft Clarity is deferred: session replay is not needed to validate this small P0 site, and would require its own consent and masking verification. This is a product decision and technical boundary, not a general conclusion about Clarity’s legal status.
