How We Research and Test

Understand what Lead Brief has checked, what is based on vendor documentation and which product tests have not been run. Sources and dates stay visible.

What the labels mean

Documentation-based means a claim was checked against a dated official public source. It does not establish how the product performs in an account or whether it helps your team.

Editorial workflow means our proposed method for a task. It may be illustrated with fictional records; it is not a validated predictive model or a measured customer result.

Synthetic example means invented records and amounts used to explain a method. They are not customer case studies, conversion benchmarks or market rates.

Hands-on tested is reserved for a completed, described product task with the configuration, date, evidence and limitations recorded. No CRM card in this release has that status.

How sources are used

For product features and prices, we prefer the vendor’s plan matrix and help centre. We record the currency, billing term, seats, important limits and review date. A missing or ambiguous local price remains a gap; we do not silently exchange-convert a USD price into a UK offer.

For jurisdiction-specific statements, we link official regulator or government material and keep its scope visible. We do not present federal US email guidance as a review of all states or channels. Current ICO guidance marked as under review remains labelled accordingly.

Our process recommendations and arithmetic are distinguished from sourced factual claims. Vendor descriptions do not prove the effectiveness of a workflow. No conversion uplift, interview findings or customer results are claimed for this release.

What technical checks establish

Calculator tests check the stated formulas against examples and boundary cases. A build, link check or laboratory browser audit concerns the website and the tested conditions. It does not validate demand, certify full accessibility or establish legal compliance.

A future CRM test would use the same fictional enquiry set and task protocol across the chosen plans. Until completed, the result is NOT RUN. Use the protocol in the CRM checklist.

Updates and corrections

Product facts should be rechecked before purchase and when plans change. The visible reviewed date refers to the page’s actual source and editorial review, not an invented test. Historical drafts outside the current P0 release remain unpublished.

A public correction inbox is not yet available. This limitation is recorded on Contact; no message form is offered as though it were connected.
