Pipedrive for a Small B2B Services Team
Assess Pipedrive for a small service team: ownership, activities, plan trade-offs, three-seat cost arithmetic and the limits of our documentation review.
Documentation-based. Hands-on workflow test: NOT RUN. Pipedrive is a candidate when your main job is keeping deals, owners and next activities visible. The decision below is an editorial assessment of that job, not a rating of the product’s measured performance.
Who it is for
Consider it if three people need one shared sales pipeline and can agree stage definitions before importing records. Your first task is to record an incoming enquiry, decide who owns it and schedule the next useful action. A CRM cannot supply that agreement for you.
When it may not fit
Keep your current system if it already provides an owner, a dated action, a basic report and a usable export. Do not buy an extra subscription merely to replace an unclear acceptance rule. If your requirement is complex delivery management, check the relevant product and add-on scope separately; this card evaluates enquiry handling.
The workflow it supports
The official pricing table lists lead, deal, contact and calendar management in Lite. It places full email sync and automations in Growth, and enhanced fields/reporting in Premium. These are vendor-documented plan distinctions, checked 28 Oct 2026, not our test results.
Build a trial around one fictional enquiry: create the record, assign an owner, add missing information and set a due activity. Change the owner, find overdue activities and export a small set of records. Use the CRM checklist to record whether each requirement works in the exact plan you select.
Required plan and limits
Lite is the starting candidate for a manually managed pipeline. Growth is the candidate to investigate when full email sync or automation is a requirement. Do not treat every feature mentioned on the product website as included in Lite.
We have not confirmed the required custom-field configuration, report limits or complete export coverage in an account. Those are purchasing checks, not evidence that a feature is absent. Record the plan, limit, source and successful trial step before deciding.
UK/US pricing notes
The USD annual view showed Lite at US$14 per seat/month, billed as US$168 per seat/year, and Growth at US$39, or US$468 per seat/year, on 28 Oct 2026. Three Lite seats therefore total US$504/year; three Growth seats total US$1,404/year. The monthly equivalents are US$42 and US$117. This is our multiplication of the displayed subscription figures, before any applicable taxes or add-ons; it is not a quote or monthly-payment offer.
A UK-billed GBP quote was not established in this review. Do not convert these USD figures and present the result as Pipedrive’s UK price. Check the billing country, currency, commitment, tax and renewal price at checkout.
Integrations and data
Before connecting email, check which messages and attachments become visible, who can export data and what happens when someone leaves. Verify the exact integration in the intended plan. A marketplace listing alone does not establish the completeness, price or reliability of a connection.
Use fictional records for the trial. Check the supplier’s current contractual privacy and security material against your operator, clients and data locations before adding real personal data.

Alternatives and next step
Compare Zoho CRM if a three-user free starting point matters, and HubSpot if you are evaluating a broader customer platform. Those are routes to investigate, not interchangeable feature sets. Use the same three-person scenario and keep the current setup as a fourth option.
